Regenerative farming added to school curriculum

Kate Spry has developed the first curriculum in Australia to explore regenerative agriculture, implemented in her school in Tamworth; ‘The Soil Story: The Road to Regenerative Agriculture’. After frustration with the current misinformation being taught in how to combat climate change, Kate decided to develop the new curriculum to target years 3 to 10; and has now been picked up in more than 50 schools across Australia. The unit incorporates project-based learning, covering everything from science, agriculture, history and geography. With a new generation of health-minded people, educating the younger generations in the importance of regenerative agriculture is crucial to development of healthy populations.
