ANNOUNCING WA LAUNCH EVENTS FOR REGENERATING AUSTRALIA FILM AND THE $2M INNOVATE TO REGENERATE SOLUTIONS FUND, WITH DAMON GAMEAU AND SPECIAL GUESTS
Regen Studios and WWF-Australia are delighted to invite you to the regional launch of Regenerating Australia, a new short documentary film by award-winning filmmaker Damon Gameau (2040, That Sugar Film).
Featuring Kerry O’Brien, Sandra Sully, Tim Flannery, Larissa Behrendt, David Pocock and other well-known voices, the film is based on a four-month ‘listening campaign’ with a diverse group of Australians who shared their hopes and dreams for the country’s future.
It is a new story for our nation: a story of empowerment. A story of solutions. A story of regeneration.
This special event screening features a Q&A with director Damon Gameau and a panel of guest speakers including:
– Anthony James (Creator & Host, RegenNarration)
– Di Haggerty (Co Founder Natural Intelligence Farming)
– Olivia Chapman (Director, Clean State)
– Bella Burgemeister (Author, Organiser School Strike 4 Climate)
– Bill Hare (CEO Climate Analytics, Lead Author 2007 UN IPCC Report)
..and more to be announced soon.
It will be a chance to connect with others face to face and feel some much needed hope and inspiration as we discuss the steps we could take together to regenerate Australia over the next eight years.
These WA events are also the official launch and entry point to the ‘Innovate to Regenerate’ challenge for social enterprises and impact ventures targeting themes in the film. Selected projects will have the opportunity to access the $2m Innovate to Regenerate solutions fund, alongside impact investors looking to scale up projects that deliver social, environmental and economic benefits to communities around Australia.
Bring your family, friends (free entry to under-18’s) and your social enterprise inspiration along. Limited tickets at each venue will sell fast.
