Event

An informative day for equine property owners on how to manage pastures sustainably, soil health and important Stable Fly information.

This is a practically focused information day to help you make the most of your land – including information on soil improvement, dealing with weeds and creating sustainable grazing systems. Hear the latest news on Stable Fly and learn about strategies being developed to minimise the impact of stable (biting) flies especially to properties of outer metropolitan shires.

Join Perth NRM, SJ Landcare, SJ Farm Food Alliance, DPIRD and the Shire of Mundaring for this free informative field day in Serpentine Jarrahdale with like-minded landholders to dig into local soils, weed management, as well as grazing systems that work on two local properties.

Belinda Taylor from Hoof Hearted Hoof Care will present and answer your questions about your property and Dr David Cook, DPIRD, will present on Stable Fly.

Date: Saturday 18 March
