Event
The 2023 Biodiversity Conference – Listen to Country- is being held from October 10-12 in Perth WA, at the UWA Club.
Western Australia is home to 8 out of Australia’s 15 declared biodiversity hotspots and is one of the most biodiverse regions in the world. Pressures from climate change, habitat loss, invasive species, pollution and mining put these precious hotspots at risk of collapse.
The 2023 Biodiversity conference will bring together researchers and practitioners from across Country, academia, government, industry and community to share their knowledge. The conference will emphasise the need for a collaborative approach to manage our state’s biodiversity and will focus on five key themes of Listening to Country, Biodiversity assets, innovation, learning from setbacks and towards ’30 by 30′.
